You can transfer the below:
- Defined Contribution (DC) Pension Schemes, including company and personal pension and drawdown arrangements
- Private Sector Defined Benefit (DB) Schemes
- Funded Public Sector DB Schemes
1. Accumulation phase
- The accumulation phase marks the initial stage of your superannuation journey, where you contribute to your super account, and your balance steadily grows.
2. Retirement phase
- When members begin a super income stream or pension, their super funds are transitioned into retirement. Starting from July 2017, there has been a limit on the amount that can be transferred into this phase, known as the transfer balance cap. The transfer balance cap is $2 million (from 1 July 2025).
