No Personal Advice on This Website

The content on this website is provided for general information purposes only.

It does not constitute:

  • Personal financial advice

  • A recommendation to invest

  • An offer to arrange or enter into a financial agreement

  • A guarantee of future performance

Any financial decision should only be made after receiving a personalised recommendation based on your individual circumstances.

Investment Risk Warning

All investments carry risk.

The value of investments can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you invest. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.

Investment returns are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated within the terms of a regulated insurance contract.

Specific risks may include:

  • Market volatility

  • Inflation risk

  • Currency risk (where overseas assets are held)

  • Interest rate risk

  • Liquidity risk

  • Counterparty risk

Diversification can help manage risk, but does not eliminate it.

Pension Risk Warning

Pension values are not guaranteed unless held within a guaranteed product.

Where income is taken using flexi-access drawdown:

  • Income is not guaranteed

  • The fund remains invested and exposed to market movements

  • Withdrawals may reduce the sustainability of the fund

  • Poor investment performance combined with high withdrawals may lead to funds running out

Annuities provide income based on the terms agreed at outset and are usually irreversible once purchased.

Pension access rules are governed by legislation and may change. The minimum pension access age is currently 55, rising to 57 from April 2028 for many individuals.

Taxation

Tax treatment depends on individual circumstances and current legislation.

Tax rules, allowances and thresholds may change in future.

Examples of tax considerations include:

  • Income tax on pension withdrawals

  • Capital gains tax on investments

  • Inheritance tax exposure

  • Lifetime and annual pension allowances (where applicable)

Hoxton Wealth (UK) Ltd provides tax-aware financial planning but does not provide standalone tax advice unless agreed as part of the advice engagement. In certain cases, clients may be advised to seek specialist tax advice.

Charges and Fees

All charges are disclosed before any commitment is made.

Charges may include:

  • Initial advice fees

  • Ongoing service fees

  • Product provider charges

  • Investment management costs

You will receive written disclosure of all relevant costs, including aggregated cost illustrations where required under regulation.

Fees must be agreed before implementation.

Charges will reduce overall returns.

Conflicts of Interest

Hoxton Wealth (UK) Ltd maintains a conflict of interest policy designed to identify, manage, and mitigate potential conflicts.

Where a conflict cannot be avoided, it will be disclosed to you in writing.

The firm does not accept commission on new retail investment business where prohibited by regulation.

Client Money and Assets

Where applicable, client money and assets are held in accordance with FCA client asset rules.

In most cases, investments are held with third-party product providers or custodians regulated in the UK. These institutions are responsible for the safekeeping of client assets under regulatory oversight.
